Christmas Eve Gala Dinner

The Blue Ocean Family had so much fun preparing for and hosting our Christmas Eve Gala Dinner. Our highlights were working together with the children from the Anh Sang Sightless Children’s Sponsoring Centre whose band played and sang Christmas Carols, the Ham Tien Primary School who performed traditional Vietnamese dances, and the local ethnic minority group, the Cham people who shared their musical culture with our guests on this special evening.

Our guests have told us they loved the Christmas fare on offer, but they were even more happy that a portion of all the proceeds of the evening were gifted to these special groups to support their education and development, as well as keeping their culture alive.

Personally even though I had to work over Christmas and am a long way away from my family, I loved sharing this magical evening with our guests, my beautiful staff, and of course the children. When the Anh Sang kids arrived back at their home they telephoned me to not only let me know that they had gotten home safely, but also to tell me how much they loved joining our Christmas event.

I think these kind words were the best Christmas present I have ever received.
